 Shauna's ADGA Genetics Page

Shauna is line bred on Raha Acres Twink's Pixie through PromisedLand Incredible Hunk +*S, the 2011 ADGA National Premier Herdsire, and Twin Creeks Midsummernite Dream 91 EEEE.  Due to a neck injury shortly after her first freshening in 2012, she was excused from our linear appraisal session.  We are so very thankful that after a couple months of showing severe neurological symptoms, she healed and is living a normal life.  We weren't sure about breeding her, however, but Dragonfly T Ashen Myst decided that he'd take his chances and Shauna obliged when he escaped into the doe pen.

Shauna delivered without incident, despite the arthritis in her neck, and is nurturing her kids without issue.  She has a productive udder with awesome pliability and buttery soft texture.  Although she doesn't have the rear udder height and extremely snug attachments I'd like to see, the luxury of milking that udder make up for whatever faults I find.  Her personality and will to milk will keep her in my herd indefinitely.

Shauna was excused from our 2013 linear appraisal session since she was to deliver 9 days later.
