When I first laid eyes on Cinnabar in person, I couldn't believe how beautiful she actually was. Pictures just don't do this girl justice. She is so very feminine and dairy. I am thrilled to have been able to bring this lovely doe home.
Cinnabar was bred to Flat Rocks Tuan before leaving Dragonfly Farm. I was in awe of the udder I saw developing, even before she freshened. I had never seen this amount of capacity on a first freshener before! In March, she easily delivered triplet doelings (yeah!), and again this doe surpassed my expectations in her mothering abilities as a first fresher. I am so pleased with her.
Since freshening, her udder has only improved, and she's capable of feeding her 3 girls as well as having some left for me to have as well. Her first official test she milked 3.9 pounds as a first freshener! She has matured into a very lovely, dairy doe with wonderful body capacity and a great udder to boot. We're looking forward to having this girl on 305 DHI test to see how awesome her production levels are!
