We are thrilled to be able to bring Lizzie to our herd. She is a niece to our boy SG Rosasharn BB Cento +*B, being the son of his littermate GCH Rosasharn BB Tom Bombadil *B, herdsire for Helderberg Hollow. In addition to having SG Rosasharn P Haiku 4*M/5*D, 2010 ADGA National Champion, 2011 ADGA National Total Performer as a paternal granddam, Lizzie's dam is GCH Chenango-Hills Bouncy Trixie 6*D, an ADGA and AGS Top Ten breed leader for milk, butterfat and protein in 2010 freshening at less than 3 years of age! Lizzie's littermate brother Chenango-Hills Lysander*B served as a herdsire for J-Nels until his untimely death.
Lizzie was bred to our own SG Rosasharn BB Cento ++*B, her paternal uncle, for a close line-breeding on National Champion Rosasharn P Haiku 4*M and Rosasharn WT B-Bo ++*B. She delivered handsome twin bucklings, RHV CTO Show-Me Flourish +*B and RHV Mizzou Mystique *B.
Lizzie is showing decent production for a first freshener, however this doe has been holding back for her kids on test days. Her butterfat percentages are much lower than I would expect, and I know I haven't been getting all that milk! Now that her boys are weaned, she's allowing me to have more. Future milk testing should reveal true butterfat production. Stay tuned!
Lizzie was bred to Dragonfly HLU Piezo d'Electra with 3 surviving bucklings in 2014. We are hoping to finally get a doe to retain in 2015 with the breeding to RHV CTO Cointreau +*B!
